In December 2024, the Parents Circle - Families Forum held meetings between bereaved Palestinian and Israeli women. The meetings were a testament to the power of authentic personal connection, strengthening bonds and leaving participants with a sense of belonging and a desire to continue working together for real change.

We held Uninational meetings for Israeli participants online, and for Palestinian participants in-person, devoted to processing the joint weekend experience, and preparing to use storytelling as a peacebuilding tool.

We also held a Binational in-person meeting in Beit Jala with storytelling training for telling personal stories of bereavement as they bring messages of hope and reconciliation to impact upon their communities. Israeli actor, director, and dramatologist, Einat Weizman conducted the workshop, placing an emphasis on verbal communication and body language.

"Before I came to this workshop I thought that we are so few that we will not be able to make a change, but now I think that each one of us have circles around her and we can make a change in those circles and more."
